First, the CEO should not give investor presentations, period.
Second, the roll-out of HyperCloud appears to have been moved back to June from January. This might be because Netlist was over optimistic on their timing, or because it gives them 6 months to solve legal issues that they weren't aware of when they said January.
Third, there was no clear mention of the legal battle for claim to the intellectual property that underpins this whole thing. I was hoping to hear that Netlise and Inphi had come to some agreement, or something, that would have cleared up this uncertainty. Having said that, technology companies are always suing each other over patent issues...it's like a sport with them. I'm a long time watcher of AMD and their legal issues with Intel are the stuff of legend.
My takeaway is that they have a great product, but we and OEM's are going to wait until the legal challenges are cleared up so they don't wind up like Google with chips in their servers that someone claims are infringing on their technology.
