    Checked with NR, low pressure injection

    Nice try guys on the bit with leak supposed. Guess your from other competition firms.

    The injection pipe is 3 concentric steel pipes with concrete between them and under pressure 50-75 PSI. Down to deeps of 2000-10000 ft. on wells. This with permits from Texas on regulations. Annual report said, typically, less than 100 PSI. No way practically to have a leak. NR so far has put 40.7 million barrels of slurry down wells. That's about 2% of the storage capicity of 2 Billon Barrels of slurry possible of safe disposal.

    Got good answer's to inquiry's past and today from Matt Hardey.

    I'm satified with holding NR stock long term. Work and product sales should go up with demands in sector.. You know what's happening with needs for energy.

    • Sir, you are totally wrong..... ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron-Texaco all had their drilling waste sent to Bourg and Bateman Island by NR. Check the LDNR status reports, dn 119. It is a monthly report (available to the public) that shows "exactly" where the waste goes from all the disposal transfer sites, and who it belongs to.
      As transportation cost ( barges and tugboats) are the highesst involved in this procedure, Anything from Cameron -west- was bared to Pt. Arthur, offloaded and trucked to Big Hill. Anything East of Cameron ( Intercoastal City, Venice, Fouchon, etc) was barged to the land farms. The records are there.

    • You must only know small oil companies, because NO major oil/ng operator allowed NR to send its offshore drilling waste anywhere but NR's injection wells - east or west of Cameron. Is east of Cameron supposed to be a trick input?

    • Fishman, you research well, however, listen to facts- injection is generally into limestone, and here, it is on the slope of salt caverns which dominate the region ( the federal oil reserve is close by)----- injection is supposed to be at least 500 ft below the nearest water table.... for TXRRC permits----- lately NR has had to drill and install "monitor wells" around all it's injection wells at Big Hill. NR dosen't spend money unless forced to, so Why? The only answer is they were forced by TXRRC and the only reason TXRRC would do so, is because they detected hydrocarbon leaks ( residue from oil base mud) in the local water systems.
      Check the TXRRC records on permit orders and status checks, it's public record.....
      by the way- the 50-75 psi is the "limit" that they can pressure up to as disclosed by their permit- because if it's done right, the injection wells actually work on a vacuum. The problem is that the obm residue hits ground water in the limestone and forms an emulsion blockage which diverts the "flow" . The diversion is generally upward as there is less resistance, which sometimes forces it into the water table or porous formations that communicate with the potable water table.

      Note- I don't work for a competetor, I am a client who dosen't send my waste to NR anymore. We send it to be land-farmed by US liquids. NOt the best, but at least we get accurate reports on where it ends up. NOte- the generator ( oil company) is FOREVER responsible for the waste, now matter which disposal company gets it. Invitations to Superfund clean-up parties are not fun.

      1. Consider your source! ( the corporate accountant CFO - of course you would get the rosy scenario)

      2. Did you get his permission to quote him on a web board?

      3. They have no competition.

      4. Think abandoned sulfur mining from the 1920�s before you had regulations on capping wells the area is full of them. (the path of least resistance)

      5. I doubt they are oozing out the railroad commission would be on their butts if they knew about it!
