to leave the U S. The last bunch of messages here were mostly telling the story of the U S future. I had been saying to young people for awhile "while your young start your life in another country" Canada sound best to me mostly because of the easy of the language. Staying here will be watching the slow distruction of what was for a long time the worlds best country. The Democrats are just as much to blame no good outspoken candidates.
I was hoping that Wesley Clark would step up nicely, but for as good as he looked as a commentator on CNN he was out of his element on the stump.
I'm surprised that Bill Richardson (NM Governor) didn't run; perhaps he felt that he couldn't win the primaries. He sounds reasonable and objective, other world leaders like him and he has a little of that folksey charm that seems to be required to win a red state anymore. I heard on the news yesterday that he may be considering a run next time.
On the Republican side, John McCain seems like a shoe-in next go around and he would be hard to beat. It was encouraging to hear him this week saying that we had to get off our butts with alternative energy. Perhaps the Republicans will offer up a real unifier next time.
Hay! texasoilmeninpower. You make it sound like their is a possiblity of hope in four years. I like McCain but am worried about the republicans that pull the strings on the republican candidates. I liked Bill Richardson too. But he has to beat Hillary and it seems any democrate I like usually ends up a loser in the primaries or the election. Thanks for the hope. Richardson in 2008
