Mickey Mouse truly IS running this company

Anyone want to explain where all the buyout offers were 5 months ago when MARVEL could have been had for only $22 a share? Not only do these geniuses buy at the TOP, but they add a 20% premium. Suggestion: Buy out APPLE next for $500 a share.

    • I agreee on the timing. "If you liked it at $22, you'll love it at $48."

My question is why even buy them? Havent they already made EVERY comic book movie possible? We've seen Spiderman 3, Xmen 3, Hulk, IronMan, DareDevil, Fantastic 4, Punisher, and Blade. I think they're started to get a little played out, dont you? How much more could you possibly expect to squeeze out of this franchise after you just paid a 25% premium?

    • But DIS stock was at 15 and the outlook and uncertainty on the economy six months ago was much fuzzier than it is today.

Plus it might be a little easier for Disney to borrow money now (if that is what is required) than it was six months ago.

I'd like to see you ( or any of us ) try to pull off these deals. We have the luxury of sitting back and making comments without having any consequences.
