Why even bring up a stock split? The last two stock splits that Disney had is when the price hit about $120 dollars per share. Then they had a 4-1 and 3-1. Disney is not even thinking of one. So how can any one even suggest it. They don't even have a continuing increase in growth. So this isn't really anything to bring up and discuss
as i've known that it has split in the past. i was just wondering if it'd happen again soon - that was my only reasoning for asking.
and i guess it could appear to others that this question would seen like one of ignorance.
anyway thanks for your words.
Right after 9/11, DIS dropped into the $16s. Then climbed out to the $30s, where it sat until the current recession, when it dropped back into the $16s again. Now its climbed back out of that hole into the $30s again.
While I'd like to see DIS hit $45, I don't see how that will happen. Perhaps I'm missing something...
If this is a double dip recession, as some say it will be, the pattern is clear - DIS will drop back into the $16s and climb out again. It could be shorted going down, and bought at the bottom going up...
I doubt DIS will split in its current configuration.
Instead of asking when DIS will split, the better question is why will DIS split? What is the factor that will make that happen?
