I am not Wall Street savvy! Can someone answer a question?
Over the last years, the fad of splitting stocks has faded on Wall st. there is a bit more prestige about having a higher price. stocks that fall under 25 are looked upon in a bit more of a negative light so the incentive to split by the company isn't really there. If a split is going to come, you generally see a strong surge in buying volumes in the months ahead of the split announcement. this is happening with Dis but i suspect its more about profits and growth than hopes for a split.
