What a disgrace! As a kid I remember, the statuesque J. Silverheels , a full blooded native American, who portrayed the character of Tonto; with dignity and nobility . Now this demeaning characterization of a slap stick, odd ball, as Tonto, with a dead bird attached his head; and the Lone Ranger in a Brooks Brothers suite; is a deplorable insult to the fond memory of a classic epic. What were you guys at Disney thinking? What a bomb you guys made out of a possible box office mega hit, that if presented correctly, could have created a new generation of Lone Ranger devotees for future episodes. Talk about a supper hero for the youth. Wow! did you guys blow this one, big time. This movie is a disgraceful, long and short term; insult to every one of Disney's stock holders .
