Look at all the home builders today, and you will see how the institutions exit their home builder stocks quietly but solidly all day. This will continue, but they will try to do it in drips for days and weeks at a time. I don't think that was Bob Olstein buying those 16 million shares of BZH last week on the FBI announcement. I find it unreal that institutions are still so overweight in the home builders. It is other peoples' money, so it does not matter that much to these "professionals."
The tell tale huge asks of 500,000+ shares that occasionally appear is a good indicator. It's been held in a tight range considering all the bad news. You're right, these institutions want to exit one way or another. All in all a pretty tastey short as long as you're careful not to get caught in a squeeze. The lame idiot dumb money longs who predict a bottom have all but dried up. I think that it's all downhill from here on.
