    Pump and Dump

    Of course this is only a small clip / time frame of what I suspect has been going on for a while. Unfortunately we can't see ALL of the transactions. Pump the stock with SA articles and Dump a few days later. Looks to me they are on the wrong side of the trade. No wonder why they were calling for a "Dutch Auction". Oh yeah if you really dig into it they had lots of margin calls involved in this. Maybe they should have stuck to licking their own lollipops instead of encouraging others to send them to the board.

    During the past 60 days, Mr. Alsaadi has effected the following transactions in the Issuer’s common shares:
    on October 29, 2012, he sold 7,034 shares at a price of $3.34 per share in exchange for gross proceeds of $23,493.56; and
    on November 5, 2012, he sold 74,966 shares at a price of $3.03 per share in exchange for gross proceeds of $227,146.98.
    During the past 60 days, Dr. Goldstein has effected the following transactions in the Issuer’s common shares:
    on October 18, 2012, he sold 11,400 shares at a price of approximately $3.53 per share in exchange for gross proceeds of $40,241;
    on October 19, 2012, he sold 1,500 shares at a price of approximately $3.53 per share in exchange for gross proceeds of $5,298;
    on October 23, 2012, he sold 9,700 shares at a price of approximately $3.52 per share in exchange for gross proceeds of $34,128;
    on October 29, 2012, he purchased 4,650 shares at a price of approximately $3.19 per share in exchange for $14,840 in cash;
    on October 31, 2012, he purchased 3,300 shares at a price of $3.05 per share in exchange for $10,065 in cash;
    on November 14, 2012, he purchased 12,000 shares at a price of approximately $3.36 per share in exchange for $40,290 in cash;
    on November 15, 2012, he purchased 3,000 shares at a price of $3.33 per share in exchange for $9,990 in cash;
    on November 16, 2012, he purchased 9,300 shares at a price of approximately $3.23 per share in exchange for $30,068 in cash;
    on November 30, 2012, he purchased 6,400 shares at a price of approximately $3.23 per share in exchange for $20,680 in cash; and
    on December 3, 2012, he purchased 22,000 shares at a price of approximately $3.16 per share in exchange for $69,487 in cash.

    • The law suit has been dropped between Nawar-Goldstein and EQU. Would like to know what was desided other than just dropping the suit.

    • Lets Look at the metrics dr Goldstein increased his holding by a net 38000 shares and alsaadi probably to finance the defense sold 82000 shares I honestly cannot reach the same conclusion that this is pump and dump certainly not dr Goldstein he said he was buying and did it.with the share price more is going on then meets the eye.your report on drilling activity was ver good ,what of course we should know gas ,light oil or water

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • As far as selling the "French Poodle" shares are concerned it was way before the court announcement.

        As far as the other dissident

        "he said he was buying and did it".

        Yes he did!

        Then on 12/12/2012 he published his article "We Want Equal Energy To Be Run Like Berkshire Hathaway" So if he wasn't satisfied why did he buy all of those shares??? (the most shares in one lump sum to date)

        He bought those shares knowing he was getting ready to Pump them once again, but the stock never gained traction as said before. He was then and still is now on the wrong side of the trade.

        After the stock started heading South and ultimately where it is today the defamation of character (libel) remarks started to come out. I don't blame the management at all for defending their company and for me as a shareholder. I know they are the one of the cheapest companies in the patch based on flowing BOE/D and time is on my side to watch the outcome.

        The bottom line is this. You invest in a stock, do your own DD and hope that management is making the correct moves. Management does get paid compensation and bonuses for running a company so I don't buy the overly compensated theory. I can name you hundreds of companies that are in the red since the CEO or Board of Directors took over and especially in this industry.

        Personally I'm down on the trade and accumulating. I'm not doing this because some "French Poodle" and his cronies are trying pump it and then sell to make some cash on their investment as a matter of fact good for them. If they can make money by doing what their doing fine, but their alligator mouth just overloaded their hummingbird #$%$ and now they will see how all works out in court.

        So to all of the longs in this equity I wish the best of luck. And to the Pumpers and Dumpers and defenders of a Dutch Auction have fun in court!

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • Well the trend looks like buy low and sell high. I don't have any problem with this and do it quite often myself, but when you pump an equity publishing articles etc., and then sell it and then buy it why even pump at all unless it is for personal game. Like I said this is just a small window of trades and I would like to see two years worth to make final conclusion.

        The gas amount was on the completion reports. Of course these were just completed so I'm sure there is plenty of water until these wells are De-watered.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy
