It would be in shareholders interest, an Instant 16% profit (51c) if ZTR Goes Open ended.Zweig makes up many reasons why they shouldn't go open-ended but none over-ride this basic fact/windfall.Whats amazing is not a single Board directors vots with 'us' the shareholders. They are of course Paid by mgt.We are at Odds with mgt who makes money ON total amt under mgt, THEIR interest.Which might be reduced dramatically if shareholders had the OPTION to redeem at NAV.This REEKS IMO as there should be at least 1 independent board member looking out for shareholder interest.LOFL.
i've sold half my position and will sell all when the opportunity arises. you are correct. the board is in managements pocket and not responsible to shareholders. sadly.one more variable on future purchase checklist - board governance and shareholder focus.
If shareholders had the option to redeem at NAV, would the market value always be NAV? I'm thinking that its possible for the sharevalue to be greater then NAV.
