Tesla Roadster Performance
Acceleration time, 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h): <4 s
Top speed: ~130 mph (210 km/h)
Range: 200+ miles
There are other nice riding cars that do 0-60 in under 4 seconds but very few do it for <$100k.

Wait and see how much it will cost for Road Service. Hauling them to the nearest plug in. Buy one and take one on a 200 mile round trip.

Of course the issue is that you can't do all of that on the same charge. Doing acceleration runs in under 4 secs or topping out at 130 decreases the range to about 50 mi. Or less. And of course unlike those +100K cars that can do the same you're stuck for the next 8 to 16 hours waiting for a charge to do it again.
That's the advantage of the Volt. After getting skunked at 8.3 sec vs 4 sec and however long the lap times are across several laps or how badly you get beaten by the Tesla you can still get home. Without a trailer. And the three ton Chevy super duty truck that gets 10 mpg to tow it.
$100K?
Give me a break. I know that you want "all electric" but $100K ain't gonna be mainstream you punk...
I don't think you're suggesting that it will but you're still a punk...
You replied to yourself and called yourself a punk?
Meds not working today?
Give GM a little while. I'm sure they will come up with numbers like those for the Volt.
Doubt it. By the time they do, technology will have already changed. What GM needs to do is get ahead of the game and not play catch up.
