    P/E expansion

Hopefully it will be an all cash deal if this thing is legit...

Think about P/E expansion with a huge shrink in the outstanding shares thanks to there massive buyback!!!

    • this deal is legit. STX don't play games, when asked they said no comment, if they not looking it would of been a decisive NO.

now for how much. i keep on telling you it be a 70% or so buyout, ocz will keep on trading on open market. life will be good. i been modeling around $10 with a spread of $7.5-14.5.

bri you wont go BK, if STX don't buy them someone will. to many patents and products to be sitting here.

      • Hey Pip,

I was doing a google search earlier today and STX has never had a no comment before! They just deny rumors.... Which is a good sign for me at the time... But then again all of those where different situations.... And there is more than a possiblility I missed something in the search...

I only picked up 1800 shares of OCZ to hedge STX paying way too much... I was thinking options but didnt want to get screwed if they offered under my strike, plus I figured this is not as bad of a company as I first thought... The more I look at them the more attractive they are.

I am probably pretty foolish but I do not normally protect to the downside since most of my portfolio is high yielding safe stocks with a few exceptions.... I thought this might be a good hedge with STX, They are my largest holding and to be honest my favorite stock to follow... Like many I feel they are way under valued with tons of catalysts on the horizon. Plus what other stock gives you a nice yield with a buyback of 30% plus.... Honestly if you know of one tell me because I have been looking :)
