You have to wait for NDRO or Scottrade to send you the tax information booklet regarding the distributions. This will have the tables need to claim depletion etc.. The tables remind me of old log tables in math class. Not too difficult, and certainly worth it if you hold this in a taxable account.
i already received all tax information from scottrade. it only shows total royalty distribution on schedule 1099-misc. and this is all they report to irs. i would not want to report something that does not match what scottrade reports... have you received anything from ndro last year?
