Their credit matrix is nutty, and they have one guy working credit, not account managers with routes.
The furniture is shoddily constructed, made of cheap materials that come apart pretty quickly.
Anything you pick up is trashed within a few months because it just does not hold up.
I like some aspects about the company and their approach to selling and the terms, but the management are a bunch of nuts.
Yes, I quit. No, I did not get fired. I walked out when the Regional Manager fired the Store Manager after the female Sales Manager recorded the Regional Manager propositioning her and threatened to turn him in if he did not fire the Store Manager. I left three days later.
It sounds like you had more of an issue with an individual than you did with the policies and cultures of Aarons. I can tell you are a poor associate by your terminology when you said pick up rather than return. I have been with this company for over 15 years and the average tenure of an aarons associate is 6 years how can that statistic be true of an inferior company. I would be willing to bet that your performance was horrible and it was brought to your attention enough times that you either quit or were fired. Go lose somewhere else this company is for winners and it shows in every number wallstreet can muster up, just take a look for yourself its right in front of you.
