I agree, this isn't a new product, it has been in stores for a very long time. Just because the IPO was hot and is being talked about in financial circles doesn't mean that the general consumer is anymore engaged by it. Yes, they have a new kiosk in a BestBuy in San Francisco but that doesn't mean this thing will start flying off the shelves.
I live on a small island and the dive shops have had GoPro stands for at least a couple of years.
I am eating crow on this trade as I appeared to have shorted way too early, but to those longs out there I wouldn't get too greedy...waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Unrelated to the above, but related to "Fetch" who really wants to watch a video of a dog sniffing another dog #$%$ anyways? Actually I know the answer to that, people with credit cards and no concept of savings.
Actually GPRO did this the best way possible. Get your product out and to the public first for a few years. Become established as the best one in this space with its uses. Then IPO your product as the public already knows what the product is and what it can and will be used for down the road.
