Also I have to correct the issue of Microsoft
commitment to purchase SkyBlaster units from Gilat. It was
said that through MSN, microsoft is committed to
purchase in the coming 4 years significant quantities of
this product to be install in MSN customers.
Estimations are that Gilat will sell 50,000 units in year
2000, aproximately half of it might be purchased by
MSN. In the year 2001 Gilat is expecting to sell
almost 250,000 units.
The investment of EchoStar
in GTH reflects a $284M value of GTH.($50M for a
17.6% stake in GTH).
