secondary from my info is ccmp selling their shares to ie the public or another institution and I'm not sure if this transaction has taken place as of yet need to call gnrc CFO to see if she will confirm don't assume anything
Not A buying opportunity. Private Equity group CCMP Capital has millions more shares they will continue to bring to market. They will treat GNRC like piggybank. Everytime stock runs up - they will sell more shares. They have the right to do this with millions more shares. This is as high as its ever going to get. They tried this several months ago but demand for stock dropped so much they couldn't sell their shares and dropped the offering. Now they are trying again - and will continue to do this in future Time to get out for good.
John--I'll have to admit, the path higher for GNRC has not been easy. Every time I think it might take off, it gives back most of the gains. I bought at $34 and because I had some second thoughts, sold the Mar$35 calls for .70. Longs who are profitable or nearly so, might consider selling the Apr $35 calls for $1.25 or so. If the stock isn't called away from me, I'll be selling those after my March calls expire. Simply a way to boost the dividend to a huge dividend as long as the stock goes sideways. Downside it that you lose any sudden big move higher, which at the moment doesn't look like a big risk.
There is nothing wrong with selling more shares when the price goes up to raise more cash to grow your business. This is the whole point behind being a public company.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
