Oohay....did you listen to the con call? Howard usually states our divi policy remains the same. Today he didn't. He only referenced the history going back to 1995 on the regular divi and 1999 on the 5%. First time I've ever heard the 5% mentioned in this light so I think it's a given.
No other news except real estate seems to be doing great. I loved it when the Wells Fargo analyst challenged Howard on use of cash and cash flow. He suggested a divi increase and Howard shot him right down.
Actually i have never listened to a conference call for any of my securities. i did read annual report in detail. i live here in new york and i am very familiar with prudential elliman and the profits realized from same, per annual report. okay, thanks for all input.
Not quite. The conference call indicated that the cash dividend would NOT be increased from the $0.40/share quarterly. Historically, when VGR pays the 5% stock split dividend, they reduce that quarter's cash dividend to $0.381/share.
So, expect $0.381 cash + 5% stock September 15th (XD date).
