    • Observation of management decisions ( or rather indecisions or non decisions ) concerning Del Monte Europe Processed Foods makes it look as if perhaps Hani El-Naffy, the President and Chief Operating Officer, is not up to the job.

Perhaps Mohammed would do well to rely on someone else ( or even an entirely new team ) but the CPA syndrome ( continuous partial attention )is apparently so serious that management cannot concentrate long enough to solve any one problem.

The DM Europe Foods business was overpaid. It is now a hollow shell with its reputation badly tarnished which would make it difficult to sell without incurring a major loss. DMFPI Fresh thinking & philosophy is not working for processed foods.

As for the article in question which infers that DMFPI treats its shareholders with little respect this could perhaps be said also for the fashion in which it treats customers and employees. That is a poor model for creating value. DMFPI took operating control of DM Foods Europe nearly 2 years ago to the day. The share price of FDP was then over 2 times what it is today.

More like insider stupidity. Mo and Hani are two of the most callous, heartless, and clueless executives you will ever meet (and I have met them). I think FDP is in a death spiral that only "Ala" can get them out of.

What do you expect from two people who are from the same part of the world that breaded the cowards who flew airliners into our buildings.
