    Michigan's 13-15% Jobless Rate

counties upnorth like Cheboygan, Machinac are experiencing 29% and 23% unemployment. Granholm was at southfield library today and sounded upbeat but she kept saying this stimulus money is only for 27 months then its all gone. Her opinion is that all that went to TEA PARTIES are influenced by right wings groups-sad she does not see the revolt coming toward her and others.

    • You are correct about the jobless rates in northern lower Michigan.

You are also correct about Granholm being blissfully unaware of the revolt against her policies that have led to the nation-leading jobless rate of 13%. Relatively high taxes have reinforced the worst economic performance in the U.S.

Michiganders voted for her. Now we must live with her policies for another 1.7 years.

Why invest in DTE when it is heavily dependent upon an economy in a severe recession?
