My wife bought a farmville gift card this week

Ok, I get it now. It reminds me a bit of the Netflix fiasco, where the company did some stupid things, and the stock dropped like a rock. It sounds like the CEO has done some questionable things, and most of the stockholders are angry because the company wasn't worth nearly as much as the earlier valuations.

Hmm. I guess the long term question is really whether or not the company will be able to continue to sell enough of these $10 gift cards for virtual items like my wife bought. Probably another big question would be if they will be able to come up with new hit games as the old ones get stale.

I'm not convinced either way at this point - still thinking about it.
