Maybe ZNGA got the better of FB.

I have thought about this a great deal and I keep coming to one conclusion. The amended FB ZNGA contract had to be perceived as beneficial by both parties.

If either party felt their interest were not being served they would have forced the continuation of the contract to its term.

So what did ZNGA get in the deal? To read the press all you would hear is that FB kicked them to the curb but the evidence is to the contrary. The user numbers on FB are as strong as ever.

FB wanted to diversify and find new partners so that their revenue was not so dependent on ZNgA. Ok , that's obvious.

ZNGA may been dealt the better hand. They know the future for them is gambling and mobile. Neither of which is FBs deal and not being allowed to peruse those deals was now an anchor on ZNGa.

I think with the Nokia deal and Bwin ZNGA has maybe kept their current FB revenue and begun the growth strategy of importing players to their own site and planting the seeds for tomorrow.
