Merrill Lynch is simply the Irish version of Goldman Sacks.
It is my father's alma mater no less, but from an era when the company still represented ethics and integrity for the individual investor. The firm was fundamentally bankrupt prior to the shotgun marriage with BofA, and BofA shareholders were devastated from this unfortunate union. The CEO, Stan O'Neal (the dark Irishman) , drove the firm into the ground with Vegas style mortgage backed securities and CDO's. He was subsequently given the ax, walked away with a $161.5 million, and he now plays golf regularly in Florida. Of course, the U.S. taxpayers ultimately picked up the tab for the entire fiasco. Billions.
Curious how this firm issues an upgrade on ZNGA hours before the earnings report.
A pox upon the houses of Goldman Sacks and Merrill Lynch.
No one goes to jail in this thoroughly corrupt system.
Be of good cheer, Mr. O'Donnell! The western continent is cursed and the mutations it has spawned are terminal. Time to head back to the fair, protected Isle. (Although I hear that it is being set up as a network offshore center for derivatives! The #$%$ Irish are too stupid for words, aren't they?
