Now I really think the deal is off and Zynga will get the casino.
A judge just ordered that Atlantic Club reinstate the deal with Poker Stars.... Bwahahahaha
Really? This is America Jack... How are you going to force them to show up to closing?
At best this is going to wind up in court where the 2 parties end up fighting about how much if any of the advance money the Atlantic Club must return to Poker Stars.
And now that there is ill will the management will have ZERO interest in letting Poker Stars back in the door and to be honest thanks to the lobbying efforts of those who will remain nameless... CZR, MGM, BYD I don't think Poker Stars is going to get a license anyway.
This is now an angry fight over the 11 million or so Atlantic Club took up front and whether or not they owe it back. I'd love to see the contract... If it's true the provision to obtain a license by 4-30-13 was there then it's too bad so sad for Poker Stars.
Bluesky - do you have any reason to think this is actually good for ZNGA? Or just being hopeful based on what people here have suggested they think ZNGA should do? Obviously it is better to NOT have Poker Stars buy Atlantic Club, but we don't even have any idea if ZNGA is planning on buying a casino at all, right? (let alone Atlantic?) Or is that not right?
