I'm feeling a lot of heat from the kitchen, at least in Washington D.C.
I already stated some time ago that the future course of the markets is now in the hands of the politicians, and there are few among them that actually grasp the nature of free market capitalism. I would pay close attention to the futures open tomorrow night, the currency markets, and the precious metals. And Italy. After the sell off, we will get a knee jerk reaction from Congress, some bill passed, but it is hard to tell if it will work this time.
In any case, ZNGA and its virtual world of virtual nothing will become increasing irrelevant.
We are living in fascinating times fraught with peril. It won't be boring.
That I can guarantee you.
I've already done the math, and stood on both many times.
Golden Gate Bridge between tides: deck height: 220 feet-- less than 2% survival rate
Forest Hill Bridge (North Fork American River): deck height: 731 feet--0% survival rate
About a three hour drive between the two sites.
A four second ride as opposed to a nine second ride.
The Forest Hill Bridge has more bang for the jump.
A premature notion though, as we have so much excitement ahead.
There is someone who drew up a correlation between Golden Gate suicides and the DOW Industrial Average.
Jump over my poor virtual corn harvest?
Not just yet.
