Selection of the ZNGA anthem is pending, so please vote (and whip it).

I'm not a strict musical purist, so electronic music interests me, though you can seldom beat raging guitars. Our selection has been narrowed down to these two final choices, both synthesizer based: Tainted Love (Soft Cell) and Whip It (Devo). The "Whip It" lyrics seem highly appropriate for those long ZNGA common shares-- Crack that whip/ Give the past a slip/ Step on a crack/ Break your momma's back/ When a problem come along/ You must whip it/ Before the cream sets out too long/ You must whip it/ When something's goin' wrong/ You must whip it/ And whip it good. (Can someone explain the cream part?)
sflegendinhisowneyes has already voted for "Tainted Love" He was particularly attracted to these subliminal lyrics: Now I'll run from you/ This tainted love you've given/ I give you all a boy could give you/ Take my tears and that's not nearly all/ Oh, tainted love.
It is no mere coincidence that both these tunes remain wildly popular In San Francisco, home of the ZNGA Brain Trust. This is especially true of the thriving black leather scene south of Market Street. I know what you will immediately assume (I do paint with a wide brush myself), but actually just I ran a mixing board in many of these clubs, so I was exposed to certain dark depravities as a close observer, a bit too close really.

I request the longs now slip on the prerequisite studded dog collars and leashes. Don't forget your black leather chaps. The more body piercings the better. The Folsom Street Fair ain't got nothing on this masochistic ZNGA sideshow. Will it hurt so good when ZNGA breaks below $3-?

      • The Lovely Miss O'Lita: The drudgery of American life (all that Farmville) is wearing a bit thin on me of late, and I am considering to relocate to one of those little Visayan islands 500 miles south of Manila. Likely, I will pick up the teaching profession once again-- high school English Lit. and Comp. This wouldn't be about a pay check, as there will be none, but giving something back to the world. You can't just rest under a coconut tree and chug tuba with no purpose, a sure prescription for disaster. Perhaps you can visit in the future. I think with a good bible study program, you could have the entire island converted to your persuasion in about a week. The local population already loves the Lord, so your job is not a difficult one. They are also a highly musical people, so Kumbaya would be in order.
Yes, I know that environment is a bit different than your recent skiing vacation at St. Moritz. I actually spent quite a bit of time in Switzerland, pedaling a bicycle over the Alps on my way to Sicily. The landscape is incredible, but I found a certain antiseptic smugness among the Swiss. No such thing in the Philippines. So, are you a woman of adventure? There is a very high joy factor there. I aim to go out in a flame.
        Carpe Diem.
