If Whole Foods wanted to attract more people to their stores (and cut into McDonald's market share, as you suggest), they wouldn't profile their customers like a Beverly Hills boutique and boot shareholder/customers who don't look like Ken and Barbie. It makes me wonder if they do racial profiling.
WFMI lost my financial support and $10k/year of me and my wife's business.
If you go through life demanding perfection from everyone all of the time, you are going to be one unhappy individual. I have a suggestion. Put on your most expensive business suit or whatever nice you've got, and go back an see the manager again and mention your previous experience! There are creative solutions to life's little problems, instead of withdrawing, moping, and bitching.
Tybalt, I'm not saying you're wrong, but I don't understand what you said or were trying to say... What do you mean WF was 'profiling their customers like a Beverly Hills boutique', and 'boot(ing) shareholder/customers who don't look like Ken and Barbie'. ?????
Short story: An assistant manager at Whole Foods thought I was a homeless person mooching free food samples because I stopped to shop on the way home from the gym. He threatened to have me arrested for shop lifting food samples unless I signed a document admitting to criminal trespassing if I return to Whole Foods again. This is the first (and last) time that I ever experienced poor customer service at Whole Foods. I guess business is so good that they don't need my money or support.
