For those who believe my subject line; here you go!:
"Looking for a deal on Valentine's Day roses? Most Whole Foods Markets are offering two dozen long long stem roses for $19.99 from February 9 through 14, 2012. Find a variety of colors available, including the traditional red roses.
Whole Foods sources their flowers locally, throughout the United States and from around the world. They focus on earth-friendly floral selections and one visit to a local Whole Foods store will prove that this is a great place to buy gorgeous flowers."
Because WFM caters to the elitist 2% (note revision from my 1% thesis), we don't have one-and won't anytime soon-in the central valley of CA. I will grant you the price for roses is very good. However, sounds like a loss leader to get one in the store to buy the (allegedly healthy) #$%$ they sell at 25-30% profit margins. Nice marketing!
