What would the yield be? These are very tempting, and i see,you guys are jaded to investing,so i respect you all.
Two years ago, Gabelli said he might lower the dividends in two years.
Recently he has said he may lower dividends due to different tax laws (?) .
Having seen the two above references, I don't feel for certain that the 15% payout will last too much longer.
Would you mind providing a quote to back this up? FYI-The recent quarterly report clearly states a payout ratio of 63%.....there is more than adequate funds to continue the .84 annual distrib with no negatives forseeable!
THIS GIVES GABELLI A WAY OUT.
The annualized yield based on the current mo. distribution of $.07 = 15.2%
You might not count on actually make a 15.2% Total Return, however.
GABUX annualized Total Returns:
3 year =10.63%
5 year =9.40%
10 year =8.96%
