This is only my opinion, but I would expect a deal like this to provide another buying opportunity shortly after it is announced. I am concerned that the USHC integration still has not been completed. (The adversity on this board between AETNA and USHC employees indicates they are still two seperate companies in spirit).
I commented in Post 55 (last sentence) that I have yet to see this company announce a strategic move that has not caused the stock price to move down.
Another thing that disturbed me recently was the increase in short interest in the last numbers at the current low price... This seems to indicate that information existed that a merger might be on its way... and the result predictable.
I have sold off 60% of my holding (some as covered calls) as we have moved thru the 80's. I'd start repurchasing the calls in the high 70's and the stock in the upper 60's or high 70's if it got down that far.... (and I'd live with it if it didn't)...
