Increased confidence about earnings, perhaps, or good whispers? Sector rotation? Improving Brazilian economy (your warnings about price wars notwithstanding)?
I haven't noticed anything remarkable regarding Latin American issues, in general. Have you?
I'm still somewhat in a state of shock. I thought 40 would be a fairly difficult barrier to cross, but we seem to have slid right by it and are sustaining the price. Guess I closed out my long calls too soon and sold those covered calls, prematurely. Oh, well, no one ever went broke taking a profit, and I can always roll out those covered calls. Still have lots of PB in my core holdings to make me happy.
