This company is in a perfect position to grow for the forseeable future. Railway isn't going away because there is nothing that can replace it for moving tons of freight at ridiculously low prices. Railway is a critical part of Intermodal transport systems (ships, trucks, trains planes). Pipelines can carry liquids very efficiently but they can't carry solids like coal, grain or steel and they can't be deployed quickly or temporarily to meet a sudden need to move bulk liquid freight over great distances like what is occuring in the Bakken Oil Formation which encompasses some 25,000 square miles in North Dakota, Montana, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. There IS no pipeline to bring this oil to refineries to all the various hubs around the country. But railway tank cars can. Who's the leading railcar manufacturer? Who has a very busy and profitable railcar refurbishing business? Who has a very busy and profitable railcar leasing business? ARI.
