Problem is he's not always wrong or he'd be useful, probably closer to flipping a coin. In FTR's case, he said "SELL, SELL, SELL" before, if I remember correctly, maybe as high as $8+. OTOH before that it was "BUY, BUY, BUY" at still higher prices.
What did Cramer say about Frontier ? It's funny how I heard lots of people say the same thing about Cramer. I finally and accidentally saw his show on TV one day and what a dweeb this guy is. A total fake personality and Corporate puppet.
Those segments a couple of years ago that had him talking essentially about gaming the system really showed him for what he is. Nothing would surprise me now. Could he be colluding in an effort to bring 'er down for some huge short selling entity or entities? I had SYX some years ago and repeatedly dissed the stock, calling it a software company (it is a retailer of computers and electronic) , even as it was putting together back to back record earnings. Despite his blather, it eventually shot up. But he was bad mouthing it at a time when 40 or 50% of the float had been sold short.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Remember Cramer said sell sell sell when Frontier was below $4.00 and hurt many of his listeners who followed his advice and sold. (Probably with losses). Of course we know the stock took off after his sell call. We will see in the next several weeks how many more people he will hurt. Wallstreet doesn't follow him but Mom and Pop investors do.
Do you really think the people who listen to Cramer own 3,000,000 shares of this stock??
Has nothing to do with him. He might move a tiny, tiny microcap where 100,000 shares will move the meter....but not stocks like this. The stock will be fine. The shorts are hoping for some "event" and there is none coming and their cost of carry will start to burdon them before long.
