Walmart realized that it pays to keepenoughstaff at checkouts so people do nohave to wait aslong. They increase salesand therby sales/person isincreased.K-Mart has never realized that. Someone has to callfor help and 5 minutes latersome someone comes tohelp. By then the peoplechecking out are upset.They do not come back.
In my experience, Wal-Mart is worse at theregisters than KMart is in our area (Kansas City), butneither is really bad or really good. The KMarts werereally good this past weekend.It's the same atthese stores as it is at the groceries and the hardwarestores and the department stores. You just expect tohave a few people before you in line.KMart hassome problems, but I really don't think checkers areit.Jon
