    More California

Keep in mind, EVERYBODY hates the power company so they are always convenient scapegoats when problems happen for politicians. If you can blame out-of-state power companies, so much the better! It's not like Gov Davis was expecting REI to contribute to his reelection campaign.

Here's an interesting thought: they can seize the assets, but not the workforce. How will they keep the plants running if REI opposes them?

When I bash democraps, there is NO intention there to praise the repubicats. All this California crap started under Wilson.

      Let's call them ALL "prostiticians."

I suppose it is a nice idea; however, REI does not own the employees. Think about it...they are californians, they like to go home to lights too. What do you think the employees will do...what would YOU do? Politicians are not intelligent enough to run the units so they will not run efficiently...and will probably become more hazardous. Guess what that means....higher operation cost...duh, THAT was a successful move! But, hey, then they can hide it through taxes...haha. Seizure of assets is a very moronic idea. Equivalent to the two year old...if you won't do want I want I will take the ball. Unfortunately, with a two year old you have hope that they will grow out of it!
