    Windstream Services

    I have never been so disappointed in my life by a provider of services as I have been with Windstream. Tomorrow I will be filing a complaint with the PUC in the State of Georgia against this company.

    If you are thinking about this company to provide you with service, you may want to think again.

    I fell for the bundled package "hook line and sinker" and I am getting taken to the cleaners.

    What a POS company.

    • I don't know the specifics of the situation. However I would like to remind you that telephone usage is billed in arrears. So if you cancel this month. Next month you receive a final bill for the usage you had this month before cancellation.

      I'm not saying this is the case since it sounds like you are having problems with the non-usage portion. Just throwing it out there.

        Win, just try to get something, anything done by Verizon. They have superb equipment, hard working guys who come to your home. Then try to get the back office to do something. It has been 8 months since I have had a bill. Everyone has a different answer, promise "I am doing it as I speak", and nothing ever happens. I just wait until they send me a past due statement.

        They just can't seem to do anything right. If they can, why would they not be able to get me a paper statement? I have been on hold for hours. I have been hung up on.

      This company billed me for a month I did not have services! And they are making me call Dish network to get all my money back! They say it will be next month now untill they give me my money back! What garbage....

      I will never buy anything from them again!

      • What a coincidence. I finally got through with Windstream and it seems like all of the problems are with Dish. So far Dish has overcharged me 106.00 in just two months. There are services I am paying for which I never received and extras that they cannot roll back. When I told them they were not part of the Windstream package, or that they never mentioned them to me they said there was nothing they could do about it.

        So my letter goes out to the utility commission tomorrow.

        Again what a POS company!

      • And oh yeah, Dish network doesn't have my 40 dollars...must have fallen into somebody's pocket at windstream....

        Did I mention I dispise this company, yet?

        Consider yourself warned if you are lured in by their "green truck".
