So you don't understand WIN, but you sit on this board and bash the stock. Clearly an idiot. Plz do the rest of us a favor and go away. The real question is: Do you own a single share of a divvy paying firm or are you simply addicted or handcuffed to your computer with no life? Plz, plz; just leave the rest of us alone!
Earnings are what is left after all the bills are paid labor electricity and the dividend...So the ratio of dividend to earnings is not important, furthermore cutting a dividend doesnt improve business it just hides losses or transfers them to shareholders as in the case of CTL and Frontier even after cutting their divs they are worse stocks because their earnings did not go up, that is like getting a free electric bill and some how the bill money just disappeared anyway...
They can and will continue to keep up their dividend as they have quarter after quarter after quarter, yet every quarter we listen to the same broken record, casting doubt and fear to those who don't understand the dividend's role w respect to Win's business.
7.89 = steal.
If it goes lower = I will buy with the fury of a male elephant seal in heat.
As for the div, don't take my word for it, read S&P - they've called it correctly w respect to win for years.
Anyone who thinks they can't continue to pay has at best, a surface understanding of finance.
Their credit is among the most secure in the sector. Their creditors not only understand their strategy but are more then happy lending to continue div payment and expand to grow revenue in the mid term.
