My concern is that it appears the FDA didn't approve the HIV drugs because of quality control issues in their manufacture. This could have an impact on the HCV drug application. The HIV drugs are probably going to be approved at some point after GILD addresses the quality control issue. This could delay approval dates IMHO.
No hold on GILD, this is a good thing... they will get approval in the future! I followed the conferences in europe and AMAZING STUFF, look it up. They just need to address some slight blabla in their fillings with the FDA, but there hasnt been any negative reports on the drug testing so I am sure this is still the best bet, plus you can accumulate cheap right now before the earnings which are forecasted to be high and wait for the bounce from the FDA in the future aswell. Then again, I also believe in CELG and have split my holdings evenly between the two! Best of luck.
Nothing to worry. Just a few clarifications. Science was not questioned to my knowledge. It was paperwork (we live in a regulatory world). We all know science (evidence based trials) about treatment. This is pure regulatory jargon.
