Someone had to say it. Now I wonder about our swift ascent from the mid 40's to the mid 60's. Were we "helped" up so quickly so that someone could short us back down. I hope not. I thought about selling, but kept reading about the upcoming deal, higher prices, etc. Bought a little more yesterday thinking I could trade in and out with extra shares. Good news or bad news, not sure which, is that now I have more shares, as many of us likely do. Hoping we don't keep up this trickling down. Good luck fellow longs.
take a look at just about any MLP today. Most were hit and hit hard. Nowhere to hide when the sector gets hit.
Also, one of the posts I saw today again mentioned they need to announce a deal soon in order to close by year end. I still expect an announcement soon--keepin hope alive-- but there is no correlation at all between announcement and closing. There is nothing to be done post announcement that can't be done pre announcement. They can announce after they close. They can announce concurrent with the closing with everyone in the room with their pens furiously signing away.
