why do you people have to gloat? Short sellers posting on this board? Whiners? Good gosh people, these are your neighbors. these are the people buying alongside you that are suffering and want answers. Heck I want answers. Get out of this yahoo mentality that those people that bought at $70 are idiots and those that bought at $20 are geniuses. I bought in the 20's I have at least 1 tax lot above 70. I was fortunate to have had investable funds during the financial crisis. Some wer not so lucky. Show some compassion. Show some class
My WAG as to the catalyst is that the CNOOC Nexen deal finally closed today. Combined with seller exhaustion. But as was just posted, if there isn't anything positive on Friday, nothing that happened today will matter much.
Lets try to keep this board halfway respectable at least. I truly believe everyone on this board owns EVEP long. I highly doubt there is anyone here with a short position. I know there are sever very PO'd people here. count me among them

      • "Ok, if you want balance, then those with the idiotic messages about calling the SEC or the DOJ to indict management, or those complaining that the stock was down when "every" MLP was up should also stop."

        This is exactly right.

Pooch writes of "compassion," but never asks how compassionate it was for the EVEP bashers to keep up a relentless stream of hysterical, end-of-the-world posts which could serve no purpose other than to scare some investors out of their units at lower prices. Do you really consider that "compassion." Finally, why is it "gloating" to celebrate a rising unit price? Supposedly, all the reckless bashers also own EVEP units. If not, why the hell are they even posting here?

      • Ok, if you want balance, then those with the idiotic messages about calling the SEC or the DOJ to indict management, or those complaining that the stock was down when "every" MLP was up should also stop. I happen to think that there's a chance that the runup could be quickly unwound if no deal is announced by Friday and I might buy some puts as insurance.. Maybe they got too far out over their skies or maybe they are working on something more complex. We won't know until we know.

If you want answers go down to evep and apply for a job. you dont like the company sell your shares and go elsewhere or you can buy evep and run the company and hire your own management team- i will then sell my shares.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • And I hope you are correct. But 2 days of gains on low volume after 2 months of losses is nothing to get excited about. Selling has stopped for now. That's good. But we still have a 1) flat distribution 2) not covering the distribution 3) management diluting the piiiisss out of us to pay their annual bonuses 4) a lightweight mangement team that has squandered all credibility 5) a unit price lower than last week

I'm happy we are up today. but we always trade up hard on no news right before a secondary offering, right?
