I just checked two other MLP's I own, MWE and EPD both of which are considered excellent companies. Guess what, according to Yahoo insiders have been net sellers . don't place to much emphasis on insider transactions with MLP's
State-- I have some problem with the way MWE has had a litmitless appetite for expansion--though this week's press release of an actual sale of an asset heartens me. EPD is the epitome of a unitholder friendly MLP. Dan Duncan cared about his unitholders. He ran EPD for the benefit of his unitholders. Upon his death there was a great fear of the Duncan family duming their holdings or turning into a Kinder. Those fears were unfounded as the family continued in Dan's footsteps and are DRiP ing their vast holdings which is a significant source of capital.
The Duncans would never have been this inept in their dealings. They also would not have been this callous in the treatment of their unitholders. Walker and Duncan and EVEP and EPD have ZERO in common other than you and me.
