I fully understand the frustrations of the many investors who were disappointed that Marino did not produce stronger earnings faster. I too was hopeful that it would have happened sooner. But I still strongly maintain that Marino did many good things in building the strong foundations on which the company now rests. There were many scurrilous and unfounded charges levelled against Marino by disgruntled investors. But if they were true, there would have been nasty repercussions for him and for the company. This has not happened.
So now, let us concentrate our energies on supporting the new team. Hopefully they will bring on the improved earnings that we all long for.
Presstek shares are down on very low volume. I would be more concerned if it was on large volume. Let's watch it for the next few days prior to earnings release before we jump to conclusions. I believe it will strengthen as we approach the markets close. Just my gut feeling, or perhaps it is wishful thinking. I always live my life with an optomistic outlook.
