why is it going to take until Jan 2014 to open the first location in Austin, and Florida still does not have an announced location 15 weeks after franchise was announced.
These locations should have lease announced within 60 days, and another 60 days to construct. 4 months max for the first location, and second location should overlap calendar for first, then every 30-45 days.
High level retail leases are done over night. I own and franchise a chain of 33 retail stores, and when opening a new metro market, it takes 4-8 weeks, just to develop a plan as to where you are going to place stores, and identify possible locations. Another 4-8 weeks to negotiate the LOI, and another 4-8 weeks to negotiate lease language. That is provided space is available. Sometimes, you are waiting for other retailers leases to expire, new construction to be approved etc. I like what I see with these new franchisee signings. I can tell you, PZZI will be at a 52 week high on 12/31. I started buying under $3.00, and have introduced tons of friends to this stock, which is something I never do. I can almost guarantee that private equity is going to buy this. They will dump Pizza Inn, load this puppy with debt, and then take it back public in three years. This is going private at $15-$20 IN 2014.
