I looked at the markets available map and now all I see is dots. Everywhere I look I see dots now. Hopefully this condition will continue, till they find a cure.
I believe this quarters update will look stronger. We could see a nice bump in revenues. They have now 10 company store P5's. Plus they added 3 franchise units, adding $30K each in fees. This and the third quarter are the stronger months in sales for pizza. Each company P5 adds $150K in revenues per quarter at least. If you have now 10, that's $1.5M each quarter. Granted not all these P5's were fully operating for the quarter, but they will be in the third quarter. Tack on the revenues from the (3)franchises and you have another $9K per store coming in quarterly. Just imagine when they have a 100 stores, $900K a quarter, 200 stores $1.8M per quarter. Plus a franchise fee rolling in on top of this of $30K per store opening.
Predicting they are profitable in the second quarter.
i am long, and investors should look at longer term story, i believe this quarter number will look #$%$ like the last one. i am not investing for p/l for now, and anyone with these expectations will be disappointment in the next earnings and the couple after that imo. just keep expanding and signing up new franchises and everything will be fine, the money will start working down to the bottom line at some point
I agree. When you are in the start up phase, you are making long term investments. I think last quarter, people were caught by surprise. Pizza inn is not a great concept, but Pie 5 is different. I am looking to buy dips and accumulate.
