    Price of WPRT

Can you also place a sell order for your shares so your broker can not can not lend them to short? I've read a pending order will protect the shares from being borrowed.

    • Your information seems logical. Lending may not stop until you actually sell the shares. However, call your brokerages and ask. I will do the same to verify. Cash accounts make the investor responsible and you do not have to worry about protecting your investments from short sellers. On day, my brokerages called me and said that a large hedge fund was willing to pay me 11% for borrowing my shares. I refused. They wanted to short sell my shares.
