    DEBIT-LESS TRANACTIONS MAY HURT VISA?

I just paid my insurance on Geico for my new BMW i leased and at the payment page there was a notification message which read something like this:

"In order to reduce transaction costs, if you would like a debit-less payment type please click here, if you would like to process payment through visa please click here"

Ofcourse I clicked VISA, but are these "cost cutting" procedures going to hurt VISA's revenue in the long run?

    • very unlikely, you need your account number and your routing number for the other one right? I work at a bank and so many stupid people come in and say they dont have their account number, half the people are so dump if you gave them a check and said whats the routing number, and whats the account number, they would have no idea. so in conclusion i dont think this will have any affect on visa

      • I knew you bank/credit union employees thought us customers weren't worth sh*t.

I complained that mine was printing the city name wrong on my monthly statement when I used a certain ATM and they joked around that I'm "the same guy that pointed out the mistake before." No change was made once again.

I pulled the bulk of my money out of their stupid little branch. Then they corrected the error.
