I have been following the case 11-cv-02075 pretty close, google the case number the last time I see any updates on the case was in September for motion granted to keep swipe fees as is for now. There are rumors that December 4th is the appeal date, but I cannot find anything confirming that, seems kind of soon as most of these cases take over a year. Any thoughts or links to more recent information. Judge Leon seems to be open to suggestion from the Fed on how to handle this situation, does that tilt the odds of the appeal. I agree it will swing the stock $20 one way or the other instantly with more sway in the months following.
U.S. District Judge Richard Leon agreed to the Fed's request, while the U.S. Court of Appeals signaled it plans to move the appeals process through quickly. The Fed’s brief in the matter is due October 21, NACS’ brief is due November 20, and the Fed’s reply brief is due December 4. Once briefing is complete, an oral argument date will be set. Keep me up dated on anything you may find out in the future please!
