    ACN - "Sales" Positions.

ACN runs a tight business and makes money, and for the most part, has solid client relationships.

They are experimenting with developing a "Sales" team to drive growth. Interested to see if anyone has viewpoints on the success / lack thereof / with the Sales team.

Senior Executives (ex-Partners) still call the shots.....while a NYSE company, it is still very much run like a Partnership.

    • Sales teams have been in place for years in support of the outsourcing business. They achieve so-so win rates at a fairly high rate of spend. The process itself seems to be a clone of other outsourcers. But what I think you're hearing about is extending the sales-team model to consulting. They've been playing around with "asset-driven" sales / sales teams for a while, but again, with limited success.
