Earnings estimate for this FY is $4.20 to $4.60 (guidance upped at last cc.) A fair PE for this company is 10x to 15x depending on market conditions. This puts the fundamental value of the Company at anywhere from $42.00/share to $69/share. The market is weak right now and there is a relatively large short interest in the stock so the price is near the low end of the range. This appears to be an excellent entry point for a long position. The downside is limited and the upside is ~50%. Provided that the boneheads in DC figure out the debt ceiling and the market stabilizes, ITRI should be north of $50 in a couple months.
You go short, I'll go long, and we'll compare results at the end of Sept....
