If MEL is on CNN tomorrow
I think all he can say is that they are on target with the guidance for the subs for year end, possibly that the guidance may be exceeded but he will not know that until after XMAS and possibly into the New Year. Since XM hasnt announced, there is no reason for Sirius to announce either, although I do believe when Sirius does announce, it will be taken as a sign of strength against the XM sub count and projections will be make quickly about when they expect to be even with the XM subs.

If the sub questions comes up Mel will explain that it is impossible to predict the true impact of the Christmas season until after the 1st of the year. It will be an activation "lag" issue.

take my profits now? What are you out of your mind! Sattelite radio hasn't even had lift off left. Are their really people that don't think SIRI is going up up up. Pull your heads out. But then again you are probably a daytrader looking to make a few bucks so keep your advice to yourself.

Most audio installers either show you how or set the FM station for you. Sales people may lack this knowledge unless they have one.
Siri reps are getting better every minute, no worries. -

Someone mentioned he was going to be on CNN tomorrow, but who know, could be on CNBC, I dont subscribe to any of the premium channels on cable so I dont get CNBC, just as well, those idiots are just talking heads that will spout anything they are told to spout. I think they look like a bunch of unhappy weasels.

One thing that really scares me is SIRI's ability to activate that many units on one or two days. I hope they don't piss off too many customers with long waits, bad tech support. My dealings with them lately is that they aren't the sharpest bunch. Had to call 6 times on Sunday to activate a second and third sub. They deactivated my original sub (I have had since Feb) during the fiasco. I hope activating one new sub is an easy enough task for them to handle.
